On March 7, we added time zone accounting to your contribution charts. GitHub is used everywhere - and we want this to be reflected in its capabilities. If you happen to work from Japan, Australia or Ulaanbaatar, we want to consider your contribution from your point of view.

When counting commits, we will begin to take into account information about the time zone present in the timestamp of these commits. The problems created on the World Wide Web and merge requests will use the time zone of your browser. If you use the API, you can also specify your time zone .

We do not want to spoil your current strip of productive work, so the time zones will only be started for contributions made after Monday, March 10, 2014 (Temps Universel Coordonné).

Have fun (in your area)!
