UFO flew in and published itself in the browser

    A siren hummed shrilly, the corridor blazed with fire from alarming lanterns. The skyrainger was already above the ground. The brave fighters of X-COM , in fact ordinary guys from different parts of the planet flew on their first mission.


    An alien vessel blazed, smashed to smithereens by a meeting with the earth. Panic swept through the city. Squad X-COM followed the trail of destruction away from the plate into the interior of the block. Walls of glass and concrete, absorbing a lilac sunset, threatened death.

    The heart-rending cry of a lilac monster heralded the beginning of an alien offensive. Uninvited guests rained down like peas from the rooftops, bringing death with them. Several civilians died on the spot. The guys from X-COM shackled in steel armor steadily took a hit, no one panicked.

    The huge, destructive power of the best weapons was turned towards the enemy. A shot, a shot - as thunderclap deafened everyone around, but did not reach the intended goal. Without reinforcements, the detachment could no longer restrain the alien offensive. Despair fettered the soul.

    The combat platform of the X-COM training center rushed at full speed to the crash site. The last hope of mankind was on these guys armed with the heaviest weapons. For a volley of automatic guns it took time and a tightly knocked down guy capable of holding a gun. Slowly spinning, she released her power with lead needles. Reaching their goal, shells dug into the body of the alien, literally tearing the flesh to pieces. The first enemy fell.

    It is not known what caused the enemy to retreat, the aliens simply disappeared and were carried away by white rays into the sky, freeing up the destroyed space. The determination of earthlings and captured trophies gave hope for a successful outcome of this war.

    The game is fully functional and this time I managed to make full support for both music and sounds. Localization in 32 languages. Saving and loading games naturally works.     The ported version of the game uses the resources of the original game, which is still for sale. My attempt to get in touch with the copyright holder did not lead to anything - they didn’t even answer me. I don’t want to blame Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc for the ruin, so the game will be closed if I receive such a request, so take a moment. And yes, the project itself does not violate the license of the copyright holder, so the hub will not be closed .
