Summer commotion: looking for cloud-based CRM

At the beginning of summer, a familiar owner of a small business turned to me and asked me, "I don’t know what, well, in general, such an electronic manager." Despite the growing business, he lamented for a long time and from his story it became clear that managers' monitors were completely sealed with reminder stickers, MS Excel spreadsheets were inconvenient for customers to conduct, transactions began to break down, if only because they forgot about some of them. After a short survey, it turned out that by the start of the autumn boom in sales and customers, he wants to purchase a program that he “opened once”, brought in a client, closed, checked, attached a document, checked payment, congratulated everyone on the completion of the transaction. Well, of course, inexpensive and fast. An additional requirement was the ability to access employees from their iPad, Android devices and home terminals.

He nodded, said that he had heard, asked to pick it up and left me alone with a dozen sites and demos downloaded from them. As a result, CRM was selected and purchased, and a post was created for the habrasociety, which will probably help managers make choices if necessary and get rid of fussy notes, notebooks, stickers, etc. ...

Of course, it’s impossible to consider all CRM, the choice fell on those that by ear, on the first page of a search or in Yandex.Direct.

    Semi-finalists

The first was CRM Asoft , which on the website offers small businesses to purchase a standard version of the SaaS offer. A simple system with standard functionality and a good interface. However, she was refused due to a vague policy of selling disk space - a monthly payment of 200 MB per user, plus every subsequent 10 MB for a small additional fee. For our tasks, it was frankly small and a little expensive. SalesMax

systemfrom MaviSoft offered a very simple entry into the demo version with existing data, which greatly facilitated familiarity with the functionality. Fanciful analytics in this system is replaced by simple, accessible and convenient statistics, directories are easily and quickly edited. In general - a simple and fast CRM with familiar forms and a good web-interface similar to the interface of many desktop CRMs.

Cloud version of Iris CRMattracted by the interface and a pleasant demo version, instantly launched directly from the site without additional registrations. CRM includes sales (orders, payments, products, releases), marketing in terms of describing events, venues and recording the fact of mailings, document management, simple but convenient, extensive and interesting analytics (managers' efficiency, sales funnel, etc.). A personal account for customers is provided, provided for a fee. In general, CRM looks like planning with many excel-like pages. The interface is quite nice, simple and straightforward.

Freshcloudyet on the site it is accessible, seriously and vividly talks about the advantages of desktop and cloud solutions. The company offers to get a web-system as an interface for remote work with the "classic" version of FreshOffice or the ability to place all CRM in the cloud. CRM includes modules of counterparties, file storage, analytics, finance, newsletters, documents (in fact, only the organization of workflow). Standard analytics for operational CRM: sales, transaction statistics, etc. ... Of the chips, the presence of a client’s personal account with separate access and the ability to communicate with customers: from reviews to messages, were very attractive. I got the impression of an excellent opportunity for online communication with customers, the system is perfectly “sharpened” for the service.

But this system also disappointed, first of all, with the registration interface - it is nowhere indicated that all fields are necessary for filling, and when empty fields are discarded again on the registration form and returns an error message. The link to the demo version in Mozilla refused to work, it required the installation of Google Chrome. We go through Google Chrome. The interface strongly resembles the dice of Windows 8, which, however, can not be called a drawback - the interface is convenient, nice and clear.

We were pleased with the ability to send newsletters directly from the system, excellent analytics with various parameters and the ability to import to PDF, pop-up reminders. There is the possibility of storing and attaching files, various options for grouping in functionality, processes and tasks are well implemented, and an excellent designer of directories. From the chips - the ability to configure IP telephony directly from CRM. In general, the system made a good impression, it works quickly, the AppStore has a version for Apple portable devices.

As we can see, the top five finalists included not only CRM, but also complex solutions (portals) with the CRM module. Nevertheless, their comparison can be considered fair, because the “pure” CRMs are not far behind the rest in terms of functionality, except perhaps from TeamLab, which offers online document editors in addition to the project-CRM functionality.

On some systems there is an imprint of the main field of activity of each of the developers. So, Terrasoft knows a lot about CRM and has filled its solution with maximum desktop functionality, Bitrix24 is 1C-tabular and concise, but this does not make them worse, on the contrary, each of them already has its own user segment. And now a brief impression of each.

Megaplan.A large system with rich functionality, nice tutorial videos and various chips. A convenient menu at the top of the page, the usual for the users left panel with counters of tasks, messages, etc., thoughtful details of the interface, which, however, seems frivolous. Such a system is suitable for large teams, but such companies should always think about whether to place data in the cloud or use desktop-systems with a database on their own server.

Bitrix 24.The system has a somewhat confusing interface, includes many "corporate" chips (absence schedule, company structure, etc.). In fact, this is a large corporate portal with a CRM module. Of the nice little things - the search bar at the top of the page and the big clock next to it (you can not look down at the screen at small system clocks). In general, if there is no need for a large portal, for the sake of one CRM system is expensive.

TeamLab. I had to deal with him, but as a functional online document editor, this was already there. First time use CRMwent unnoticed. Upon closer inspection, we attracted the interface and speed, I liked the hierarchy of tasks. Ample opportunities for importing contacts, intuitive windows for creating contacts, tasks and personalities in the system are complemented by a separate project management module. This is the system where CRM, although not very rich in chips, is not a small module, but an organic and important part of the portal. In general, the functionality is concise - everything is on the case. However, there is a lack of analytics, for example, reports on the effectiveness of managers and a sales funnel. Of course, you can live without these features, but they would only beautify the system. In general, the system seemed convenient - it went in, created a contact deal, wrote a commercial offer in the editor, attached it to the deal, discussed it with colleagues, hung up a reminder - you don’t even have to go to MS Office.

amoCRM.Perhaps the most CRM-filled cloud system. A narrow, simple solution with clear and clear analytics on sales, activities and employees. Like widgets, a desktop with a live event feed, the implementation of the "Transactions" section, the ability to track and filter the latest changes made by users. However, after viewing the multifunctional portals of four competitors, amoCRM begins to miss something, at least detailing tasks to the level of subtasks and project milestones.

BPMonline CRM.Cloud version from CRM giant Terrasoft. The first thing that caught my eye was a slow boot and an unintuitive, confusing interface. The font, colors, menu organization shows that the developers strived for modern standards of interface design, but the lacquer turned out to the detriment of usability. The search bar at the top of the page asks the question “What can I do for you?” The purpose of this line is not completely clear - according to the data in CRM she does not look for, but takes to the help, which, by the way, is very well written in detail. However, there is confidence that this line will be confusing for ordinary managers.

In fairness, if someone does not need cloud CRM for one reason or another, you can choose a decent desktop from several of the above vendors, as well as from others. Here is a short list of my favorites:

    • Terrasoft 3.0 - is no longer supplied by the company, but can be found at dealers. A good system with a large set of features. Although it has not been updated for a long time, it remains a loyal horse of companies.
    • SAP is a powerful import solution with the possibility of server delivery. Well-thought-out, functional, but expensive - it needs to be finished under Russian realities. If you have a business with export, you have to take it!
    • Regionsoft 6.0 is a Russian CRM with a slightly old-school interface. It has everything that is not there - you can refine it. I like the combination of functionality, ease of installation and low price. Strong working, constantly updated solution.

I will not announce the decision here, so as not to make public relations to anyone. Of course, the winner was selected and purchased. Now he is working for the good of business, acquiring data. They say that there are significantly fewer stickers on the screens of managers, and employees have become calmer.

PS: the systems were tested in Mozilla Firefox (except Freshcloud) and on mobile gadgets. Perhaps there was something missing or not found, comments and experience using the proposed systems in the comments are only welcome.
