AMD's ultra-compact, highly integrated x86 board

GizmoSphere and AMD Introduce the Highly Integrated Gizmo Board for Independent Developers, Embedded Systems and Geeks

Gizmo Board is a four-inch square PCB, charged with a dual-core x86-processor G-T40E, which operates at a frequency of 1 GHz, and GPU Radeon 6250. These two components in such a compact design provide decent computing power, though only 1 GB of DDR3 RAM, soldered directly on the board, it is possible to significantly limit it. The device can work under Android, Linux or Windows and is equipped with the following communication connectors: SATA, Ethernet, USB, VGA, Audio, PCI, PCIe, as well as a bunch of GPIO pins.

While the price of the Gizmo Board is set at around $ 200 for an Explorer kit, which probably prevents it from becoming as popular as the Raspberry Pi or another budget ARM-based board, sometimes it takes the x86 platform to perform certain tasks. With the powerful graphics potential of Gizmo, it is worth expecting that this board will find its application in computer vision systems or autonomous robots.
