Two new useful tools for mobile developers have been posted on the Smashing Magazine website . This is a set of preparations for sketching interfaces of the common types of Outline mobile devices and templates for sizing elements of the touch interface, taking into account the resolution and physical size of real Tapsize devices. Both sets are designed for printing on paper.
Outline contains 28 PDFs for seven types of mobile devices - Android, BlackBerry, iOS (iPad and iPhone), Meego, Symbian, webOS, Windows Phone 7. There are images of devices in portrait and landscape orientations, life-size and 10 per page. As a bonus - an Adobe Illustrator file with device images.
Tapsize includes 9 PDFs for various combinations of physical sizes and resolutions:
