And who is charged in the sun?

    smartphone charging process with BP-SC4000
I have a fidget friend. University studies let him go and in the summer he set off on a travel season. It was decided to go on a trip to the Carpathians with tourists. Comfortable and only for a week.
I am only sympathetic in family affairs, but I could at least help the organization. Since comfort and civilization are now inseparable from the “on-line” mode and you need to use GPS navigation, I was instructed to deal with the problem of charging smartphones of a company that have the property to land very quickly at an unnecessary moment.

Started the search for an alternative source of energy. There were many options, at first I thought of stopping on ordinary universal batteries, and then I came across a solar charger. The Carpathians are not karst caves, we decided to try it. The choice of solar charging lasted a long time, since most of them are made in China and have weak battery performance. One could agree to a compromise, but user feedback indicated that this was unacceptable.

As a result, they decided to gurgle and get the charge of the American manufacturer Opteka.

    Twist in the hands

According to the advertisement, the battery capacity is impressive - 4000 mAh. The pictures have a nice appearance and a large number of adapters for various phones, tablets and other devices. I was impressed by the charge indicators from the solar panel: Max. 250 mA (compare with Chinese manufacturers Max. 120mA-140mA).

They thought to order delivery from the manufacturer, but there were dealers who somehow presented this company on their Internet layouts. Therefore, the money remained in Ukraine, and the Opteka BP-SC4000 was in our hands.

Everything was included in the kit, as described on the official website. Type of box:

Turning it on was very simple: just hold the button on the front panel for 3 seconds and the device will begin to charge. If you press quickly, the device displays the battery charge.

I immediately wanted to check in action on the sun, and we were pleased with the charge indicator, which, when rays hit the panel, amusingly blinked LEDs, signaling the beginning of charging the device. Seen enough of the process, rejoiced and on the road with a full charge.

The result of using this wonderful device in practice I present in the form of a report of a satisfied tourist.

I took it with me to the Carpathians and on the 1st day I decided to charge my HTC. The battery was discharged by 80%. I connected the Opteka charging to the phone. After 3.5 hours, he was fully charged. Two LEDs on the device were still lit and meant that the solar charge was half discharged. For the remaining charge, I decided to recharge the camera.

I loaded it to the fullest, and still it was empty. Next, you should check the charging in the sun on the go. On the second day we decided to go to the mountains, attached it to a backpack. After a 3-hour rise, the charge level was 25%. I would like it faster ...

By the end of the day, I was surprised, the battery showed a 4-LED, which meant it was fully charged, but I had to check it. The comrade was just setting the iPhone, which as a result was fully charged in 4 hours, while the solar charge left another half, based on the indicator.
