Linux screenshot museum

PHP developer Chris Haney was not too lazy and collected on his website a huge collection of screenshots of distributions of various Linux-systems, ranging from well-known and ending with extremely exotic ones.

Most of all, the number of “exhibits” is striking — the collection numbers 1,199 copies (I wonder which distribution was not enough?), Sorted in descending order, from July 13, 2004 to the very current date of July 11, 2012. The screenshots were viewed in the form of a simple web application, and all the pictures are 600 by 900 pixels in size, which allows you to use the site, if not just for idle interest, then to get a visual representation of the distribution (screenshots of the console are also almost everywhere). The server is fast, so there are no problems with viewing it - at least not yet.

You can take a look at the abundance of Linux systems on Chris’s website here .
