Google Plugin for Eclipse is now Open Source

imageOn November 16, news appeared on the official Google Web Toolkit blog that Google Plugin for Eclipse (GPE) is now an Open Source project. The GWT Designer project has also become open. Projects use the Eclipse Public License (EPL) 1.0 as a license. All GPE code is now available on the plugin page , as well as the source code for GWT Designer, which is also available on Google Code . Recall that GWT Designer is based on the WindowBuilder project , opened since 2010. In the near future, the expansion of the circle of plugin committers is expected.

Of course, this news is a pleasant surprise from Google. Let's hope that in the future the plugin will develop and make the life of developers even easier and more convenient.
