Windows Phone SDK 7.1 Release Candidate and Marketplace Opening for Mango Applications
Today, the Windows Phone SDK development team released Release Candidate development tools for our mobile OS. Already now you can download the tools themselves, and on MSDN the documentation was updated in the morning.
The main changes made to RC compared to Beta2 concern improvements in the profiler and the transfer of the emulator to the RTM version of the OS (build 7720). In addition, there are a couple of small but nice additions:

Download Windows Phone SDK 7.1 Release Candidate, rebuild and publish Mango versions of your applications so that happy owners of phones with the new OS can use all its advantages with your applications. Naturally, you definitely need to test the operation of your application under Windows Phone Mango!
As we recall , the version for Windows Phone 7.0 will be available and after loading the xap under Mango, metadata (description, screenshots, etc.) will be common to both versions.

- The emulator now has a tool for taking screenshots.
- The Marketplace Test Kit has appeared, allowing you to conduct a technical test of the application for compliance with Marketplace policies.
