Skype promised expansion of video call support when they released Skype for Android with video a couple of weeks ago. You can download Skype on the Android Market by going to Skype.com/m from your phone or by scanning the QR code below.

List of phones that have added Skype video call support:

    Acer A5

    HTC Desire HD
    HTC Evo 3D
    HTC Evo 4G
    HTC Flyer
    HTC Incredible S
    HTC Sensation

However, if your phone is not listed, do not be upset ...

If you have OS Android 2.2 (Froyo) or a newer version is installed, you can still enable video calls. Go to the Skype settings and select "enable video calling" / "enable video calls."
If you do not see such an item in the settings, then, unfortunately, your android does not meet the minimum requirements for making video calls. It is also worth keeping in mind that video quality may not be as good as on certified devices from the list, and only the rear camera can be used on devices running 2.2 (Froyo).
In addition, Skype 2.1 for Android includes fixing a number of errors and improving performance that will make working with the application more enjoyable.
