Save files directly from the network to the clouds using the Cloud Save extension

    Hi Habra!

I want to tell everyone (who still do not know about this, although I suspect that those who know about this are also enough) about the wonderful extension for Google Chrome called Cloud Save .

All many, many of us are beginning to use in one form or another various repositories for backup, synchronization, or simply to store files in the clouds for quick access to them from anywhere where there is an Internet connection at hand. There are a lot of services that provide the ability to organize such a repository. Perhaps the most famous of them can be considered Dropbox, but besides it there is also a convenient service from Google (Google Docs), an excellent service SugarSync and many others. In these services we store all the information that, in our opinion, we often need, as well as for some other purposes (for example, to synchronize the message history of ICQ clients), but this is not about that. So let's get started.

It all started with the fact that the more files I uploaded to the clouds, the more I became convinced that it was inconvenient (in some cases) to use standard upload methods. I will say it differently. We are all used to downloading files in that order. We found the necessary file on our disk - copied to the shared folder (if we are talking about Dropbox, for example). It would seem easier than simple, but in some cases this method of loading becomes not quite convenient. We are talking about situations where we met on the Internet a picture, file or just a link that we need and which we would like to save. In the case of a link, everything is quite simple. You can create a new text file, paste the link there and save it in a cloud folder. But with pictures and other files, everything is more complicated.
A little google, I found an excellent solution that eliminates the need to perform unnecessary operations. The Cloud Save extension for the Chrome browser allows you to simplify this process as much as possible and send any links, pictures and other files to the clouds directly from the network, without first downloading them!

After installing Cloud Save , in the browser context menu we will see a new item Cloud Savewith the help of which direct storage of files and links from the network to your "cloud accounts" will be carried out. When the first time you click on an account, it will ask you to log in to it and start the download, which will be visualized in a nice small window in the lower right part of the screen. That's all. Files are sent directly to the clouds in a service selected by the user, without unnecessary unnecessary operations of downloading, copying, uploading, etc. ... I think it’s mega-convenient! For example, this was not enough for me!

PS By the way, according to the developers of the extension, the list of supported “cloud” services where files can be sent looks like this:

“Google Docs, Box.net, Dropbox, Amazon Cloud Drive, Windows Live SkyDrive, SugarSync, Facebook, Picasa, Flickr, Min.us, Twitpic and more »
