Mapjumper - an extension for Chrome

Different cards have different advantages. I am a fan of OpenStreetMap, but have discovered a trend that points of interest (POIs) have begun to add more to Gowalla. To check if there is a point on the map, OSM wrote Mapjumper , an extension for Chrome, so that you can jump from the place page in Gowalla to the OSM map.

It turned out to be very useful to watch what's around a particular place on different web maps with their different advantages. In version 0.2, you can already jump from places to Gowalla, Foursquare, OSM, Google maps, as well as photos to Picasa, if there is a geotag. You can jump on OSM, Google Maps, Wikimapia, Mapquest Open (the last service is a different OSM rendering, also with a convenient interface for searching for POIs).

The extension code is available on Github . You can install from the Chrome Web Market .

By the way, at the meeting of osmers in Donetsk this Saturday, which he announced on Habr earlier, I will also tell about Mapjumper.
