Is Firefox flowing?

    Kill Firebug!

Often in the comments I find complaints about Fox's significant estrus. Know that the reason for this, in most cases, is Firebug.

As it turned out, many do not know that Firebug can cause brakes and leaks. For example, a warning even pops up in gmail about this.

But what if you need it? The easiest way is to use two different profiles, “developer” with all the plug-ins needed for development and “user” with all the plug-ins needed for surfing.

An additional advantage in the psychological moment - if the development Fox is launched, then I’m working and distracted now - it’s not worth it.

It is very easy to do.- run Firefox with the "-p" flag - create a clean profile, which we will use for regular surfing, and leave the old profile for development.

On the desktop, create two shortcuts, in the first at the end we add "-p developer", in the second - "-p user". We change the icon for one of them (I prefer to replace the developer) - and voila, all the power of Fox during development and, at the same time, stable and convenient work when surfing.

In particular, it looks something like this for me:

I can recommend the Iceweasel icon - Firefox for Debian.

Of course, it’s not a fact that in your particular case it will help, but to me personally and to very many among those whom I advised it really helped.

ps. Also try transferring Firefox to a ram drive
