    Before the first Siberian Weekend (Novosibirsk, March 25-27), Glavstart held a Communication Tube in Tomsk and Novosibirsk. Arkady Moreynis showed the authors of projects how to look at their idea through the eyes of business, why projects need the help of experts, and what a startup and a hamburger have in common with the example of projects that spoke.

    A project that has become a successful business is similar to bigmack. It has a cutlet (the main product / technology), an upper roll (the audience that needs this product) and a lower roll (how and what problems the audience will solve the product).

    Investors and the market first want to hear from you: what you offer, whom you offer it and how you are going to do it. Also, going to the diner, you want to get a famous and understandable hamburger, and not an unnamed cutlet.

    Why it is impossible to sell one "patty".
    One of the projects that spoke in Novosibirsk offered another service for a quick taxi call. The cutlet in this case is the idea of ​​a service that allows you to quickly find the nearest taxi. The idea is not unique: at least 6 similar services with effective calls of taxi drivers and search for travel companions passed through Startup Weekend alone. None of them fired - because, except for the technology to search for the nearest car, the authors could not answer the question - why is this for users. A person who does not have time to wait for a taxi goes out onto the road and, raising his hand, instantly catches the car - why should they waste time, look for an application in the phone, poke buttons and download something? Taxi parks have their own dispatch rooms - they don’t have to fool around with new equipment and your system - they already have their own clients.
    There is an audience, there are problems, but the project does not solve them - bigmak did not work out. That is why not one of the many taxi services has so far taken off.

    The ideas are not unique, but the authors.
    To start a project, authors must not only be able to give birth to an idea and write code - this is just the beginning. The success of the next stage depends on the competencies and abilities of the team. The main work begins when you have to analyze the needs of the audience, to promote and sell your services.
