Mumburum - The Music Search Engine

Hello! Surely you have encountered difficulties in finding your favorite mp3s, right? Here I am too.

So here. Once, when my eyes were already sore from fatigue, and my fingers refused to regularly hit the keys, the idea came up to create a system that would go to work instead of me and find music on the Internet.

Having a good night's sleep, evaluating your biceps experience and possibilities, stocking up invigorating coffee and settling down in a more convenient way, hit your keyboard with tense limbs. The code was written easily and quickly, the lines harmoniously formed into beautiful functions. Days passed, weeks followed.

And so, on one frosty morning on Tuesday, the system was completed. It was a simple search bar with a Find button. From the previously registered, I chose the most suitable domain mumburum.com , so the name of the new site was determined. During the day I fed several hundred links to thematic sites and the work went.

Two months passed, during this time the search and ranking system was significantly modernized several times, the project was dressed in a modest design, equipped with a search for lyrics and  charts of fifty radio stations. Today, the Mumburum index has more than a million tracks and at least 20 thousand are added daily. Forum scheduled. Everything is free and there is no need to register.

From what has not yet been implemented, but is planned for the near future:
    1. Bitrate of the composition and file size (done, but have not yet found a place to display)
    2. Recycling the player so that it continues to play as it moves through the pages
    3. User’s personal section including playlists (written)
    4. Own forum (written)
    5. Search mp3 by song lyrics
    6. Download playlists in m3u and zip archive all files
    7. Openid
    8. Group repeating tracks
I will gladly expand the list based on your wishes.

As for copyright and related rights, I believe that their owners can very well use the resource to search for sites that violate their rights. Something like this.

In general, this is how I got a project. Please rate in all severity. I will be glad to any criticism, feedback and suggestions.

Thank you all and have a nice weekend.
