February 18, St. Petersburg - Java Tech Day 2011

imageHere you are sitting at a computer like this, reviewing photos from the conference and suddenly you realize that the next SUN (Oracle / Java) Tech days conference should be just around the corner, somewhere in April or maybe March. Judging by last year’s experience, it was possible to register in January. I decided to try my luck and look for some information. In general, here it is, now in front of you (copied from the site):

“On February 18, 2011, a specialized conference for Java developers JavaTechDay 2011 will be held in St. Petersburg. The conference is held under the patronage of Oracle Corporation, which continues the good tradition of SunTechDays conferences in St. Petersburg. JavaTechDay 2011 will be held in the conference hall of the Holiday Inn Moscow Gate Hotel at 97a Moskovsky Prospekt, St. Petersburg. The conference will be attended by leading Oracle engineers from the USA, England and St. Petersburg, as well as Java developers from other companies.

By attending the event, you will learn about Oracle’s plans to develop JavaSE, JVM, JavaEE, JavaME, Embedded Java, JavaFX technologies, improve Java productivity, solve common problems, and of course you can chat with colleagues in the workshop.

Participation in the conference is free, prior registration is required .
See you at JavaTechDay 2011! ”

    That is not all! :)
    • Firstly, according to the program from tasty and fresh, we expect, as I dare to assume, the announcement of JDK 7 and, accordingly, Java SE 7.
    • Secondly, those interested in virtualization will be told about the new Virtual Box 4, released a month ago.
    • It will not do without trendy smart television in the implementation of JavaTV or Oracle Java Embedded Client.
    • And of course, one cannot fail to notice that Oracle has taken up the tradition: 3-day - in 2009, 2-day - in 2010, in 2011 the conference acquired a one-day nature.
The official website of the event I
propose to combat the reduction of days. You give at least 2 days of communication between programmers and your own kind!
    Now it’s all.
