Higher education and work abroad

Good day. I am glad to present to your attention another topic discussion about higher education and about the need for its presence, but with some clarifications.

The main question is: what should an experienced young developer do if he has a persistent and bothersome desire to go abroad?
I would also like to consider minor issues, such as: quotation of diplomas of various universities abroad, methods of obtaining a diploma, solving the issue with the army.

    Foreword

I am 18 years old, I am a 4th year student of one of Kiev colleges, I study in IT specialty (programming). I’ve been doing web development for 5 years.

Now I am at a crossroads, I need to decide what to do next, how to continue education (and whether to continue it at all). The only thing I know for sure is that I want to go abroad.

There were a lot of articles on Habré about HE and its need, almost always it all came down to the fact that the university does not provide real professional skills in work, it is needed in order to “learn how to learn,” be able to search for the necessary information, learn how to get out of stressful situations ( hi, sessions), master social communication skills, etc.

No matter how self-confident it may sound, but I believe that I have already gone through all this and mastered it all back in college. I conscientiously studied there for 4 years, went through ~ 8 sessions, there are still a few course and final exams.

I belong to the group of people who believe that 4-5 years of study at a university can be spent with much greater benefit and benefit for themselves.
But do western companies share my views? As far as I understand, no. Even such “companies 2.0” as Google, even if you have a huge baggage of knowledge and experience, will not hire you without a treasured crust (correct me, if I'm wrong, I will only be glad).

Alternative ways to get a diploma

Many will say that in order to get a diploma, it is not necessary to sit out for 5 years at a university, there are alternative ways, for example, studying in absentia or buying a diploma.
Here the issue with the army comes up, which I have absolutely no idea how to solve.

    Outputs and Solutions

At the moment, I see several options for solving the problem:

    Option No. 1
To score at VO, save money until the summer, after graduation, go abroad.
Cons: it’s not clear how to travel abroad (with official migration, you need to have a substantial amount of money and a solid amount of time and nerves?)

    Option 2
Get an absentee education or buy a diploma, while continuing to work in Ukraine and plan your departure.
Cons: Unclear ways to resolve the issue with the army.

    Option number 3:
Go to the hospital, damp ambitions for the next 4-5 years, get on your feet, and only then remember about old plans.
Cons: as already mentioned, 5 years can be spent more rationally.

Well, instead of the conclusion, we summarize the questions I would like to hear answers to:

Is the absence of our diploma a stumbling block in employment abroad?
Is it true that from Kiev universities, only the KPI diploma is quoted abroad?
What are some ways to legally go abroad?
How can I solve the problem with the army when studying in correspondence?
Is a purchased diploma legal at all? will they check it somehow?
