    I am a programmer, I prefer supermarkets to soviet shops with an aunt-saleswoman, I hate to call to sign up for a queue at the hairdresser. For the same reason, my friends and I have to drink beer at the office on Friday night, stopping by and once again making sure that there are no more places in all the nearest cafes. So the idea was born to write the zabroniruy.com service .

    What features would I, as a user, want to see in this kind of system?
    • first of all - the ability to book quickly, without wasting time searching for information on the Internet, calls, etc.
    • see what \ whom I am booking (for example, where is the table located in the cafe, or to which hairdresser I sign up)
    • in some form, be able to observe the full picture of the institution - workload, etc.
    • convenient search on the map, plus, for example, I would like to be able to book not only on the site of a particular institution, but also to have a map with a certain interactive catalog of institutions
    • possibility of SMS reminder services, for example, when you make an appointment with the doctor for a week or more




    So Zabroniruy.com appeared - a service for round-the-clock reservation


    The biggest obstacle to the introduction of such a plan in the Russian market is, of course, the mentality. Most private entrepreneurs prefer not to bother with the website, and the visit log is at best in an Excel file.

    Therefore, the interface of the administrative part of the project was implemented as simple as possible. To register, a company name, email and password are enough. The company also provides not only a reservation service, but also a personal website with the ability to edit its contents. (Companies that already have their own site can integrate our service through iframes)
    For greater independence from the quality of work of the Internet provider, SMS notifications to employees are used. Plus, additional features were added both to attract new customers for the institution, and to improve its internal work:
    • Employment schedules, attendance schedules
    • client authorization on the site using google, flickr, facebook and other OpenID providers




    How it works (from the point of view of the administrator)



    After registration, it is enough for the administrator to create his own database of events and employees with all kinds of descriptions and pictures, set up a company work schedule (holidays, breaks) and the system is ready to work.
    The service can be reserved by both the company's customers and the administrator himself. Moreover, both those and others can see the calendar for the selected day and evaluate the degree of service load, choose both the service and the contractor (for example, back massage, Ivanov’s doctor).
    When reserved events have already appeared in the system, they are available for viewing both in the form of table-reports with various filters, and in the form of a calendar of events (like google calendar).

    For companies with more specific interface requirements, there is a set of plug-ins (plugins). For example, to prevent cases when a client has signed up and has not arrived, you can enable the module “Paid reservation” and enter the amount of prepayment / payment for services. If payment from the client is not received for a certain period, the reservation will be canceled and other customers will be able to sign up for this time. Currently, automatic payment acceptance through Pay Pal is supported (in the near future we will add WebMoney, Yandex.Money and other payment systems).

    Another of the most popular modules is “Additional fields for events”, for example, a private clinic can add a text field to the “appointment for consultation” event, in which the client can write his complaints in advance and the nurse will call you and, if necessary, will warn the patient about the necessary preparations before consultation. Additional attention to customers always has a good response.



    One of the big problems of pre-recording is the human factor - forgetfulness of customers and sometimes even employees of the company. To make less orders frustrated due to forgetfulness of customers or employees, we automatically sent mobile reminders in the form of SMS about the upcoming meeting. All SMS messages that the system will send to customers and employees are easily configured and can be disabled.

    Future plans


    Soon Zabroniruy.com will be able to accept money from such systems: WebMoney, Yandex.Money and others, a mobile version of the site will appear.
    In the near future, the creation of plug-ins for CMS Drupal, Wordpress and Joomla for conveniently connecting a pre-registration module to an existing site.
    Also, social opportunities will be added: rating of companies, reviews of customers who used their service, advanced search of the company in the catalog.
