Apparently not content with its first place in the video streaming market, Youtube begins an experiment with rental pay-per-view videos, offering feature films for as low as $ 1.99.
Under the cut some details and a link to a new service.

This is a typical price for this industry, which was formed during the competition between Netflix, iTunes, Amazon, Sony, and Microsoft, as well as many other companies offering similar services.

A new Youtube address, youtube.com/store , was discovered by PC World staff, where paintings like Reservoir Dogs, Precious, and Saw are available for $ 1.99 or $ 3.99 (new).

You can pay for your rental with Google Checkout. After payment is confirmed, the movie starts playing, it will be available for viewing within 24 hours.

This is a pretty interesting niche that YouTube wants to squeeze into. The online video site is great for watching short videos and funny private videos, but it's hard to imagine [it’s easy for me; approx. trans.] that someone will pay to watch a video on Youtube.

Youtube has not yet officially announced this service.

UPD: Either the shop has already been covered, or it is FAKE, judging by the comments:

Let's see what happens next.
