Yandex Linux repository

  • From RSS

As many people know, Yandex has been releasing Linux programs for quite some time. Experienced and trained users were invited to download and install (and sometimes compile) these programs themselves. However, today Linux is not only experienced administrators and programmers, but also ordinary users, for whom various distributions provide different ways to simplify the installation and updating of programs. Today we opened a repository with our software products for your operating systems. This means that now new versions of programs will be downloaded and installed in your usual way, automatically.

Currently, we support six distributions (Debian, EPEL, Fedora, Mandriva, openSUSE and Ubuntu) of the current versions. There is a stable branch and a testing branch for nightly builds.

So far, only J. Online is in the repository , but soon the number of programs will increase. You will find instructions for setting up each distribution kit at .
