According to slashgear.com , the two-screen Astri MyID reader shown at CES 2010 was at a late prototype stage. This means that before the start of production there are only a few months left.

Let me remind you how interesting this e-book is. Firstly, Astri MyID has two displays - one traditional for e-Ink readers, the second - color LCD. Secondly, the book promises to be very cheap. According to the source, the cost of components is only 65 dollars, that is, the minimum retail price will be somewhere around 150 US rubles, which, you must agree, cannot but rejoice.

The low cost of Astri MyID is due to the modest size of the displays. The diagonal of the "paper" screen of the book is 5 inches, the liquid crystal - 4.8.

The reader allows you to simultaneously keep open up to 6 documents. It is assumed that the LCD screen will be used exclusively for navigation, while e-Ink is intended for reading itself.
