Turning Gmail into a Social Communication Center (Buzz + Twitter + Facebook)

Well, Google is having more and more social services that some of us use every day. It’s not always convenient to use all of them + third-party services separately, therefore, a method is proposed for integrating all the services listed in the header into Gmail.

    1. So, we will start, perhaps with the new items - Google Buzz. This service is the easiest to integrate, just turn on the “Add any gadget by URL” function in Gmail Labs. You will find it at the very bottom of the list of available functions.

    2. Now go to " Settings-Gadgets ". Here you will find a place to add your Gadgets URLs.

    3. Add TwitterGadget . Of course, any gadget for iGoogleIt works, but the most successful of them is still TwitterGadget - a gadget for iGoogle and Gmail. It is quite functional, so you can easily communicate with twitter users through this gadget. It even supports multiple accounts.

    4. Add a gadget for Facebook . Just as we just did with TwitterGadget, we are doing the same with the gadget for Facebook. For some reason, the official gadget from Facebook doesn’t work very well with Google (which is somewhat strange), so let's choose the “Facebook Gadget by iBruno”.

    5. For its normal functioning, write the following in the Gmail Gadget settings - “ hosting.gmodules.com/ig/gadgets/file/104971404861070329537/facebook.xml ”. Without quotes, of course.

That's all! Now your Google email, Gmail, is a true social communication center.
