SIPNET: Promotion “call for free, i.e. no way

    I used SIPNET services for a long time and did not know such problems before this New Year. But in NG something happened that I do not want to keep quiet. Criticism should only go to improve the quality of services.

    I will try to summarize the essence.

    I, like many others, pecked at her. I replenished the account to the required 5 cu and began to wait on December 31 when I can congratulate all my friends and relatives who do not live in my city.

    Part 1: my attempts to get through at least somewhere ...


    For communication, I used the installed ActivX component for IE8 and the special SipPoint program from SIPNET. And I even had to install QIP Infium, with the SIP plugin.

    First, I checked the stock on my phone, set up the microphone, SipPoint program and checked the balance after the call. They didn’t take a penny, so they don’t lie. But as wisdom says, “free cheese is only in a mousetrap.”
    I made one call to another city, exactly 1 minute I lost contact, then they disconnected me. I checked the balance - everything is fine, still more than 5 cu

    All subsequent attempts to get through were unsuccessful. SipPoint gave error number 408 and sometimes a denial of service. Well, I think the influx of subscribers - it happens. Later I tried again - without result.
    I had to replenish the balance of my cell phone and start calling “the old fashioned way”.

    I decided to look at the SIPNET website, what’s the matter, maybe there is any news on the problem. No news. But there are many messages created by other users who, like me, also could not get through.
    Classification of angry messages:
    • I can’t get it ...
    • there is no sound ... / they don’t hear me ... / I don’t hear ...

    I give screenshots of messages, because the administration is actively cleaning them (there is reason to think) on the site. There are messages that thank you for the action, but their minority and I'm not sure that they were written by users, not the administration. Already on January 1, I made another attempt. I will describe briefly: 1. ActivX crashed IE8. In compatibility mode, the same thing. Reinstalling IE and the component did not produce a positive result. 2. QIP Infium called - but the SIPNET robot said to the columns that I have no money in the account and that I can’t call until I replenish the balance.










    Part 2: letters to technical support and their answer that "killed me" ...


    I wrote a letter to support@sipnet.ru, I quote:
    I don’t want to call any number. Sippoint generally gives a server error and 408 error. For
    some reason, QIP Infium says that I have test access and that I need to top up my account. . I have no longer access the test I filled up for a long time also called normal.
    But now this is your share of free calls - and stopped calling.
    Through the website does not ring - Internet Explorer 8. A critical error
    Your action failed in the crash, read other posts on your the site -. they also have continuous problems

    Those. they don’t want to help me, they just tell me: "- did you manage to call? wonderful."

    My next letters were simply ignored. Did I deserve it?

    Conclusion


    • many attempts to get through: only one is successful, except for a test call to your number. I managed to talk only 1 minute instead of the promised ones - "as much as 2 days ..."
    • not only I had such problems, so the source is not on the client side
    • technical support response sends the subscriber nah * y ... I did not expect this. And ignoring customers is the height of arrogance.
    • SIPNET were not ready for such an action, but could they at least apologize and arrange some kind of bonus as compensation?
    • This did not spoil my mood for NG, but I made a conclusion for myself - a refund and stop using the service. Search for alternatives.

    I would like to believe that SIPNET will think before doing anything. I understand that I wanted to give a gift, but it didn’t work out - then we need to explain everything in a human way and not allow this in the future. But they did only: removing angry messages and not wanting to help the subscriber ...
