Correct the viewing angles of TN-matrices. Is free

If someone has not yet seen - a curious thing came up in Samsung. How to dramatically "improve" the vertical viewing angle of screens on TN-matrices without extra costs?

The technology is called MagicAngle. The gamma of the monitor is adjusted in such a way that when you look, say, from below, the image has the correct colors, but at the right angle the colors “float”. It is convenient if, for example, the TV hangs in the kitchen high on the wall, and you always look at it from below. As I understand it, there are several preset modes.

This, of course, can be called a hoax, and the word “corrected” in the title should be written in quotation marks, but it performs its function.

PS Perhaps VESA-mount with adjustable vertical angle for the TV will be a simpler and more universal solution, but still MagicAngle is cheaper. And it’s not always possible to reject the screen to the desired level.
