On November 26, we again invited journalists and bloggers to our office for a meeting, where we introduced the principles of our robots.
Lev Gershenzon and Tatyana Isaeva (Yandex.News), as well as Anton Volnukhin (Yandex.Blogs) and Roman Ivanov (head of the communication services department) talked about how robots collect and process information for Yandex.News and Yandex.Blogs.
As usual, it was a dialogue. The speakers were asked questions, expressed requests and suggestions - we will try to take into account many of them.
What was discussed? The preferences of news readers, blogs as an alternative picture of the events of the day, the intricacies of the interaction of Yandex.News with the Internet media ... And, of course, there was a discussion of the topic of closing the rating of popular posts (which happened a week later - December 3).
We plan to hold the next meeting with the managers of Yandex.News and Yandex.Blogs in February and we invite everyone to visit in advance.
