Xbox 360 hacked

So, finally opened the Xbox 360, and launched a third-party code without a signature.


What does this give us?

Hombru , games without a disk directly from the \ usb hard drive, freedom from Live, we hammer into regions, and firmware drives! In general, all that and much more delicious that they did with the first box.

In 2 words how it works. The card reader is soldered, and a switch is placed between the standard Nand (the chip where the dashboard is stored) and the card reader, where we already put our version of freeBOOT, and the software we need.

Only those with a 7xxx dashboard version or a CPU Key can do the mod, everyone else sucks their paw and waits for jtag (Pull the CPU key out) on 8xx firmware.
And the mod itself is very time-consuming, requiring well, very straight arms, and the ability to handle a soldering iron. So in the coming months, I think there will be quite a few movements in this direction.
