In honor of the fact that today, October 26, Yahoo! GeoCities (as far as I understand, the analogue in RuNet is free hosting of people.ru sites), Randal, the webmaster xkcd.com and the author of his comics, made a small redesign. Today xkcd.com shines, blinks and blinks, like most sites on free hosting with primitive tools and features. Unclosed tags, broken pictures, creeping line, ridiculous banners, creepy background and the obligatory plate “Under construction” are, in general, the favorite and seemingly forgotten web 1.0. Bravo, Randal!
