FineReader Online - beta 2

More than two months have passed since the moment we announced on Habré the launch of our online recognition service - ABBYY FineReader Online . During this time, we learned that we are not afraid of the habraeffect, read more than one hundred reviews, heard a lot of comments and analyzed dozens of wishes. And all these two months we worked to make our service even better!

    So what has changed?

At the request of our respected beta testers, we have added 2 new recognition languages - Spanish and Ukrainian .

We have completely revised the concept of obtaining recognition results. Now recognized documents are stored on our server for 72 hours and are available for download from the order history in your profile.. At the same time, if it is more convenient for you to receive a download link to your mail, just check the box “Send a link to the recognition result by e-mail” and wait for the letter that we recognized your document.

Your feedback and comments helped make the service interface even simpler and more understandable. For those who had problems downloading files, the ability to select a simple bootloader that does not use flash and javascript has been added. You can now find answers to the most common questions in the FAQ .

After analyzing the accumulated statistics, we found out that most of the registered users recognize approximately 2-3 pages per day. Therefore, the new restriction - 10 pages per day - should not affect them. Well, to those who after that consider us radishes, I remind you that we still conduct beta testing, and not give away freebies.

In general, come in, register (or login ), use it!
