Sharp NetWalker - 5-inch netbook
A five-inch screen and $ 480 worth of cost are two of the most interesting parameters of the Sharp NetWalker announced today.
Despite its modest size, the display has an adult resolution - 1024x600 pixels. The heart of the device is the Freescale i.MX515 processor with a frequency of 800 MHz. Among other characteristics, we note 512 meters of RAM, 4 gigabytes of integrated flash memory and support for microSDHC cards up to 16 GB. The netbook also has a Wi-Fi module. The
machine weighs 410 grams, its dimensions are modest 16x11x2-2.5 cm and can work autonomously for up to 10 hours on a single battery charge.
The operating system uses Ubuntu Linux 9.04.
Sales will start in late September in Japan.
