
Windows 7 is free for students, graduate students and teachers
Starting today, as part of the MSDN subscription, the Academic Alliance has become available for downloading and installing Windows 7.
Update. In the ELMS system, the operating system is now also available. If you don’t see it, ask the administrator to check the box next to the image.

This means that now any student, graduate student, faculty teacher who is subscribed can get their copy of Windows 7 for free . The English version is currently available. On August 14, Windows Server 2008 R2 should appear in the subscription. On August 21, Russian versions of products should appear. upd 25.08
On August 21, the download of the third wave of installation images, including Russian, began. The final end date of the 3rd wave is October 1 (see also here ). We will report separately as soon as the images become available under MSDNAA.
