According to the results of my mini-survey and mini-topic, we found out that on the hub there are supporters of outdoor activities, in particular, paintball. In this topic, I will try to tell you what paintball is, where they play it and offer to play it at the script game " STALKER ", which will be held on June 27 near Mytishchi, Moscow Region.

A little bit about yourself

I have been playing in a sports team for about a year now. We periodically go to tournaments all over Russia and take prizes there. Also, I enter one of the leading teams of tactical paintball judges and constantly take part in the organization of major paintball events. Therefore, I will be happy to answer any of your questions regarding paintball :)

Does it hurt?

Hit from 5-10 meters is almost imperceptible, getting into focus is painful (there will be a bruise). The most important rule is to never take off the mask on the field , otherwise, it may get into the eye or mouth. Subject to this simple rule - the chances of injury are not greater than when walking through the woods. The next injury after paintball is tennis. :)

Where do they play?

Most often they play on specially equipped platforms with artificially created obstacles. A more or less complete list for Moscow and St. Petersburg . But, if desired, resourceful paintball players can organize a game even in their country house in the nearest forest. It is only necessary to have equipment, balls and air (but permission is required for this).

What will be on the 27th?

The military-patriotic game STALKER is a real adventure, a change of reality. On June 27-28, 2009, in the village of Zhostovo, Mytishchi District, Moscow Region, a 30-hour scenario game of paintball will be held. This is an opportunity to find yourself in a “different” civilization, on a patch of land surrounded by water from all sides, fenced from all problems. This is an opportunity to take on a different social role, different from everyday life.

• 30 hour scenic non-stop paintball game . Do not be afraid of the numbers at 30 o’clock. No one forces you to play 30 hours without stopping. Play as much as you want (an average person needs 3-4 hours of play).
• In-game currency: Mouflon. All settlements in the game occur through the domestic currency, which can be exchanged for ordinary Russian rubles. Also, mouflons can be received as a reward or earned by selling the “artifact” found in the field. After the game, mouflons can be exchanged back for rubles .
• A separate “race” of Wilds in the number of 40 people, consisting of professional paintball players and playing their part in playing (guarding caravans, raiding the players' parking lots, etc.)
• Can rob Korowai "Wild"
• Competitions from partners with the opportunity to win paintball equipment, a tent or a walkie-talkie.
• Concert, good music, demonstrations from athletes.
• Tent town, beach, pond, the ability to ride a boat, swim and, of course, barbecue :)

How much?

700 rubles application + 300 rubles equipment rental (secured by a passport or driver’s license) + balls ~ 900 rubles (half a box is enough for you to fire). Total 1900 rubles. Plus, here we have more travel and food and get an average figure of 2500 rubles .

1. By car: 23 km along the Ostashkovsky highway, the village of Zhostovo, recreation center Zhostovo.

On its own: - by train to Mytishchi station (departure from Yaroslavsky station)
- at the bus station near the railway station, take a free bus from Mytishchi station directly to the recreation center (negotiations are underway, I will report on the results separately).

- Further on foot to the Zhostovo camp site

I do not hide at all that I am one of the organizers of this event, you can consider this to be my startup, because this is the first time we will bring a “scenario” to paintball in this game. Also, after the game, I will be happy to talk about the technical base that was deployed specifically for this game (internal economic accounting of the movement of currencies from banks, tracking the number of people in the game using mobile phones, synchronizing stations in the conditions of session access to Internet etc.)
