Jointech JE100 - e-book reader with LCD

Can an e-book without an e-ink display be successful today? Jointech believes it can. Oh well.
The JE100 reader uses a conventional LCD touch screen. On the one hand, Jointech JE100 is more annoying in comparison with traditional “readers” and has less battery life, on the other hand, it pleases with vibrant colors and additional features.
In my mind, this machine should not be called an electronic book, but a PDA, but who needs a PDA now? But e-books are a fashionable and most importantly, well-promoted product.
Characteristics of the new items are as follows:
Processor: 400 MHz;
Memory: 128 MB flash memory and 64 MB RAM;
Display: 7 inches;
System: Windows CE 5.0;
Battery: 3-6 hours of operation depending on the intensity of use.
The device can play music, scroll movies, and also allows you to edit documents and put any of dozens of reading programs. In addition, the Jointech JE100 supports Transflash memory cards with a capacity of up to 4 GB and is equipped with two USB ports, one of which acts as a host, and the second serves to connect peripherals, such as a keyboard.
In general, I said - PDA, especially the battery pumped up. How much the book will cost is still unknown, but I think it’s not very interesting by and large.
