First impressions of using the HTC MAX 4G

Yesterday I bought the HTC MAX 4G and decided to share my first impressions of the use. Suddenly, someone will help determine the choice.

First, the main thing - I liked the communicator. It has a large screen, almost all possible interfaces for data transfer, and a significant amount of work time. Compared with the previous ASUS P535, HTC is even more tenacious in impressions. For 2 days of operation, I lost only one stick of charge. At the same time, I really spent part of the time on the tail when I synchronized with him. Reading books with a PDA has become more convenient. Nice theme. I consider the stylus on a magnet to be a brilliant find. With this decision, he will not fall out of the nest.

One of the most convenient on-screen keyboards on handhelds. Curiously, each key has 2 meanings, depending on whether there was a short press or a long one. A very original solution.

But the devil, as always, is in the details. And here are the little things that prevent me from living:
    1. It is difficult to find a cover. He walked around 3 mobile phone shops - the communicator refuses to enter the existing assortment of covers. Practice shows that without a case, the communicator scratches quite quickly. The overall functionality is not affected, but unpleasant.
    2. It is difficult to get used to the lack of a navigation key. For example, in the contact list, it’s hard to scroll down one contact. I have to drive a name, not flip.
    3. a strange algorithm for the operation of the message block. You can see the history of communication with the contact, but you can not post a message from the history. It is not immediately clear that if you poke into an empty place, then you can write an answer there.
    4. There are no hot buttons for changing the screen orientation and launching important applications. The screen for me does not fully replace them ... in the car I’m used to working by touch.

I would be grateful if more experienced owners tell me how to get around these details.
