Wolfram Science Finder - Launch Tonight!

Today at 19.00 CST (4:00 Moscow time) will launch the search engine WolframAlpha , which is called one of the most anticipated web products this year . There is a lot of talk around this mysterious novelty, and those who tried the system in action are simply delighted with the work that the ingenious Mr. Wolfram himself did (he was the creator of the Mathematica program, and before that at the age of 15 he wrote his first scientific work on particle physics) and 100 researchers who for several years selected facts for the mathematical engine of the WolframAlpha system.

The new search engine will be the world's first universal search engine for scientific knowledge. Absolutely all scientific directories, encyclopedias in all areas of knowledge scored there. He’s not even going to compete closely with Google, but it will be much more useful than Wikipedia for the search and processing of scientific information.

We publish a dozen screenshots under the Habrakat taken during the preliminary display of the alpha version of the system, held for journalists a week ago. Pay attention to how the search engine handles search queries and what mountain of information and graphs it gives in response. Plus, the Alpha API will initially be integrated with Mathematica.
