Welcome all. I don’t know where exactly with such a question - hardly in the commentary on any topic. :) If not there, then please direct me in the right direction. :) Immediately get down to business - I have a project dedicated to electronic music - DanceGalaxy.net , now there is only a forum there. About 7000+ hosts. For a long time I would like to make a full-fledged portal with expanded functionality and attract a new audience. In terms of functionality, a lot of things are planned. That would not list everything, etc. - take roughly the same hubr + galleries, poster and all sorts of social stuff.
Based on the situation - obviously not a decision to buy some Bitrix. :)
Actually the question is - are there similar CMS on the market? Or maybe someone reading this post has their own major project and you can agree on the purchase and support of this engine for the project ?!
I understand that you can write with 0. But why, if there is already a bunch of created highly loaded projects, time-tested! In principle, there is already a good CMS with basic modules, but still there is programming and programming. I would like to consider other options.
I would be grateful for any information.
UPD1 : Friends, 7000 hosts mean current attendance. If the project will be given a fresh start with a new engine, then attendance will increase significantly. Therefore, we consider such attendance as a starting one.
UPD2: And still I would like to concentrate more on CMS, which are somehow oriented towards the creation of large portals and social networks and personally I would not want to consider popular CMS: Bitrix, UMI, DLE, Jumla, Drupal, etc. I am sure there are other alternatives.
