
Apple is developing a portable device that will occupy a niche between the iPhone / iPod touch and MacBook!
The Wall Street Journal , citing its own sources, confirms that Apple is developing a portable device that takes the intermediate link between iPhone / iPod touch and MacBook laptops.
According to many observers, the company is working on a device with a 10-inch display, like the popular models of netbooks, however, unlike them, using not a keyboard as an input device, but a touchscreen with multitouch support. Earlier, Apple, through the mouths of its leaders, has repeatedly expressed skepticism about classic netbooks: being not convenient enough and functional for use as an alternative to traditional laptops, netbooks lose in the portability of iPhone / iPod touch, which can quite cope with most "mobile" tasks.
