HTC will release at least three Google phones in 2009

The director of High Tech Computer (HTC) said that during 2009 his company will release “at least” three smartphones based on the Google Android platform.

HTC is a market leader in Windows Mobile smartphones. This Taiwanese company was the first to release a model on the Android platform last September (it was G1), having entered into partnership agreements for this with Google and the operator T-Mobile.

A month ago, HTC officially announced the second “google phone” called HTC Magic (also known as G2), and it will already be officially sold in Europe in the salons of the operator Vodafone. In addition to this, two more Android models will be released this year.
