Touch glass switches already in the studio

At the end of last week, the InterStroyExpo 2017 exhibition was held, in which the well-known TM company Nootechka took part.

I managed to see and touch the prototype of the new PSF-3 touch-sensitive switches. In just a couple of months, such cute panels will be available to the general public:

The prototype uses the discontinued Livolo C6 glass, the Wemmon panels will go into series. Thus, it will be possible to pick up electrical accessories for the switches (sockets, audio and video connectors, even a USB port for charging the phone). To select the fittings and the layout of the circuit breaker, you can use a constructor , in which, after the official release of the circuit breakers from Nootechnika, you will be able to choose nooLite as the mechanism.

When you look at the switch, it seems that the sensor circles glow green, but in fact it is not. This effect gives the paper substrate (there will be many options for customization, but by default in black switches will be white substrate, and in white - black). When the sensor is touched, a small portion of the circle flashes green, symbolizing the transmission of the command, and also beeps.

Like the PB series, there is a switch on the back side, with which you can choose one of four modes of operation. Here are the intended modes:

    • all buttons - switches *
    • all buttons are dimmers *
    • central button - switches, side - brightness adjustment
    • “Enable” button + scenario button + “Shut down” button

    * - Previously, noolight consoles sent a command after releasing the button, now the command will be sent after touching. For a person, this option is more convenient, but it does not allow you to adjust the brightness by holding your finger on the key. For this, a second mode is provided in which the command will send two commands (the button is pressed and the button is released) between these commands the power unit will change the brightness level.

Now there is no final decision regarding the modes of operation, so your options are welcome.

Thanks for attention! I hope this news has brought you as many positive emotions as I did :)
