Safe Internet Month
In Ukraine, the “Safe Internet Month” campaign is currently underway, accompanied by posters and videos. On the streets of various cities of Ukraine were placed billboards with the image of the girl’s face, painted with a marker, and the inscription: “Internet. More real than you think. "
The social campaign is timed to European Safe Internet Day. The initiators of the campaign were members of the Coalition for Child Safety on the Internet, including Microsoft Ukraine.
The main goal of the action is to attract Ukrainian society to the global problem. The leaders of the social campaign urge children, adolescents and their parents to be careful in using the Internet, as there are many strangers on the World Wide Web who are free to use your personal information as they please.
The social advertising campaign covers television channels (MTV Ukraine and Channel 5), print media (T3, Home PC, Mobility) and online resources. The Think! Agency developed the advertising concept of advertising as a contribution to the program. McCann Erickson, and the advertising video was produced by the production studio Radioactive Film (directed by Ivan Sautkin).
Using the funds of the Coalition for Child Safety on the Internet, a new resource skarga.org.ua was also created , which will be launched in the near future. On this site, each user will be able to indicate the address of a resource containing illegal content: child pornography, manifestations of racial and national intolerance, terrorism. Earlier, Microsoft Ukraine launched a special resource , Onland , which contains materials for teaching the basics of safe working on the Web.
Eric Franke, CEO of Microsoft Ukraine, the founding company of the Coalition for Child Safety on the Internet, notes: “The topic of online security is still not receiving enough public attention, while more and more Ukrainians use the Internet at work, at home, on the Internet. clubs and libraries. With the help of the Safe Internet Month, we strive to ensure that students and their parents not only learn more about the safe use of the Internet, but are also able to personally support the Coalition's initiatives. After all, even in the virtual world, the dangers are very real, and only together we can protect our children from them. ”
