The word netbook can no longer be used on Google Ads

    Another Psion victory for the word netbook. Google has recognized that the word is a registered trademark and has prohibited its use in Google Ads. According to representatives of Psion, they only want to deal with the use of the word netbook for profit.

    It will be interesting to see the reaction of Intel, which uses the word in advertising its products. Are we waiting for a total replacement of the names “netbook” with “subnotebook” or “mini-laptop”?
