iPhone and iPod touch for snipers

While walking on the net I found funny and at the same time intriguing news that a program for snipers appeared in the Apple App Store (yes, I was also surprised), which will help them in aiming. The name BulletFlight, released by Runaway Technology (in the picture - the logo of the program).

BulletFlight users are encouraged to attach the iPod to a rifle, enter a few parameters and fire, following the advice of the program. Among the entered parameters are the wind, the type of ammunition used, and also the distance to the target. (And I would like it to determine the wind, distance, etc. in the future)

The authors of the program note that their program for the better differs from competitors that display the results of ballistic calculations in tabular form in that the Runaway application gives the result in the form of advice.
(I imagined the voice from Iphone as in Gps: “Please raise the rifle 7 degrees higher and 2 degrees to the left”)

Three profiles for different weapon models are included in the program: the semi-automatic sniper rifle M110, the KAC PDW assault rifle and the SR16 rifle .Also, users can add their profiles to the program. Also, the list of basic profiles promises to expand.
