ICQ in Mail.Ru Agent works again

The developers of the Mail.Ru Agent managed to solve problems with the ICQ protocol (OSCAR), which users of "alternative" clients encountered on Wednesday January 21. The version, which is now available on the official website of the Mail.Ru Agent , allows you to successfully connect to ICQ servers and exchange messages with other users of this network. (They also say that the QIP problem was resolved ).

This fact has once again confirmed the ineffectiveness of "prohibitive" measures to combat "alternative workers." The latter find a solution to the problem in the shortest possible time, while the negative image effect that such AOL stocks have is truly enormous. And if earlier the AOL / ICQ client base simply gradually switched to third-party client applications (while remaining within the framework of the ICQ network), now, after a series of problems with the availability of the network itself, users are likely to start migrating to more reliable networks. Today, ICQ's chances of losing even the loyal part of its audience are as high as ever.

The story with "alternative" customers clearly shows that the quality of the product wins the competition, and not "breaking" the hands of users.
