Android tablet is here
Not so long ago, a group of lovers of the beautiful have already ported Android to N8xx tablets. Then the OS was launched from the Internet Tablet OS environment. Now they have managed to go even further - they have developed a fundamentally new port, which completely replaces the regular OS. Development is based on the Linux kernel from the Maemo project. This is done in order to use all the N8xx hardware, in particular the WiFi chip, the driver for which is available only in the Maemo kernel.
The port is called Android-N810 and fully supports features such as WiFi, touch screen, sound, memory cards and other nonsense that is pleasant and useful in everyday business.
