The Google Map Maker tool for editing cartographic information from Google Maps is now expanded to 43 more countries. Thus, residents of 164 countries of the world can now supplement and correct maps . The list does not include the USA, Europe, and from the territory of the former USSR there are only republics of the Caucasus and Central Asia. Apparently, Google does not yet need to edit the rest of the maps (are they really of good enough quality?).
In general, Google Map Maker is a very useful service that allows you to correct and update maps. Google sensibly reasoned that only by the users themselves it is possible to supplement the maps to the most accurate state, because the same city maps are constantly changing. No company can do this work on its own.
