Display Glasses: Teleglass by Scalar

The Japanese company Scalar makes pretty nice devices of the Teleglass series, which, in my opinion, could well be suitable as the head-mounted display of an NK (wearable computer):

    Teleglass t3-f
    Teleglass T3-F

    Teleglass t4-n
    Teleglass T4-N

If I understand Japanese correctly (and I only know it “Arigato” and “kawaii”), the T3-F model has a QVGA resolution (320x240) and costs 102,900 yen (21,928 rubles at the rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation), while the T4-N has a resolution of 640x480 and a price of 134,400 yens (28,640 rubles).

I exchanged a few letters with Scalar staff. The last letter received in January of this year said:

We are planning to ship our Teleglass (T3-F). If you are still interested in our products, please feel free to contact us. Unfortunately, the T3-F does not have CE Marking. If you or your customers have no problems without CE Marking, we are willing to prepare for it. I apologize to have kept you waiting so long.

(We are going to start supplying Teleglass (T3-F). If you are still interested in our products, please contact us. Unfortunately, T3-F do not have a CE certificate. If you or your customers will not have problems due to a lack of CE, we are ready to start deliveries. I apologize for making it take so long to answer.)

T3-F, of course, is not quite what I dreamed about, but more interesting (for NK) than Saibex, Icuiti or myvu sold in Moscow ...
