Recently I was pleased with the acquisition of a wonderful device, which I wrote about in the special. the studio’s blog and now I want to share with people
It is rare that developments of the Soviet period, especially in the field of hi-fi equipment, bring so much buzz with close acquaintance.
Corvette 038 is a unique player. Unique because you really can be proud of this development - it has no analogues. Purely our invention, never repeated by anyone.
There are several reasons for this uniqueness. The principle, which is rather succinctly expressed in one scoop saying: "You get this corn - fat" was put into practice by 100%.
In the West, the profile office of the Central Research Institute of Morphizpribor would hardly have been engaged in the development of a music player.
And in our beloved and boundless USSR, the Ladoga plant was engaged in the development of the Central Research Institute of Morphizpribor, part of the NPO Ocean-Pribor (these are mega-cool guys who developed hydroscopes and other military masterpieces).
One would think that civilian hi-fi equipment is not their profile - the way it is :-) otherwise, they would hardly have heaped up such things that no one had repeated over the hill))).
The main feature of this player is the system of “viscous dynamic damping of the main resonance in the horizontal as well as vertical planes”.
For those who do not understand anything in these physical terms :-)) you can give another indicator - the price of this miracle was 680 Soviet rubles !!!
The article by the parent of this miracle - the respected Anatoly Likhnitsky (http://www.aml.nm.ru/power2.htm) has the following note:
“My colleagues called the Likhnitsky egg” a tonearm with a ball damper suspended in a spherical cavity that was filled with a viscous fluid. Unfortunately, after I left Morphispribor, the remaining enthusiastic developers almost immediately removed the yolk (that is, the inner ball) from this egg. ”
Only the inner ball was removed, and only glycerin was left (by the way, in the first Corvette-003, the liquid was magnetic).
Still, it turned out a really unique thing!
Even in now parts of Corvette are used by lovers of high-quality apparture over the hill ...
