    In the courtyard of the financial crisis. He scared, but so far, fortunately, he has hardly touched ordinary mortals (I hope that he will not seriously affect him), but he has hit hard and with a delay on entrepreneurs planning to build a new or expand a working business. There is no free money, loans are expensive, the risks are great. Very often, companies in the real sector curtail projects, reduce staff, go bankrupt. It would seem that the time has come for the next Great Depression, but now not only in the USA, but around the world. However, there is still a “light in the window” and this “light” for the entrepreneur I see the Global Network.

    Hundreds of thousands of companies around the world have already discovered here unique and sometimes very profitable opportunities for implementing new projects or expanding and developing existing businesses. And it is they who today are least affected by the financial tsunami that are walking around the planet. In fairness, it must be said that, of course, the crisis hit the online business as well, but, first of all, enterprises that were not optimally built were affected. In web commerce, the crisis has become a kind of “forest nurse” - it forced the strong to gather, and the weak put the need to restructure or curtail business.

    It is believed that in the coming months, precisely in connection with the financial crisis, the Internet expects an advertising boom. Already today, companies in the real sector are everywhere cutting advertising budgets, and their “advertisers,” who have already looked at the Web anyway, are starting to send advertising money to the Internet more boldly. So far, most of them have a habit of considering the Internet as an auxiliary platform, but now there are serious reasons to reconsider their views. Indeed, unlike the times of large-scale injections into television, outdoor, print, radio advertising, today these managers have to operate with relatively small budgets. And the Internet just allows, working with such budgets, to achieve high efficiency, accurately monitor the efficiency of each advertising campaign, targeting it to a well-defined group of users. Add to this the possibilities of interactive “processing” of the buyer, the process of buying and calculating remotely ... In a word, lacking the ability to manage large budgets, advertising specialists have already begun to carefully examine the opportunities offered by the Internet, and many of them will be pleasantly surprised. And the Internet is waiting for a gradually increasing flow of advertising money.

    Moreover - it feels like today the Internet is almost the only industry that, despite the global crisis, continues to develop. And it will continue its vigorous development for many more years, since the opportunities and benefits provided by the Global Network to the consumer are too obvious, and the number of unreached “users” is in the hundreds of millions. All these people gradually come to the Internet and become its regular users, which means - someone else's customers. In Russia alone, in the coming years, it is predicted that tens of millions more will be added to the existing 35-40 million. That is, the growth potential for the Internet in the coming years is so great that ordinary companies doing business here simply become successful due to this “wave of growth", and companies

    Why it happens? The environment is favorable for growth. From the point of view of organizing a business, the Internet today is a place where you can start with a relatively small initial capital. At the same time, at each stage of development, an Internet company can be flexibly and relatively inexpensively “tuned” to the changing needs and requirements of the client. Web commerce is a business in which a promising idea realized provides powerful financial returns, it is a process that requires a relatively small staff of specialists, but which can be easily scaled and conducted throughout Russia, brought to other countries, to the global market.

    I am not inclined to sing praises of online commerce. All of the above is facts and their analysis. As a summary, I think that many entrepreneurs, if they have not already done so, it is time to take a closer look at the Internet. Today, new opportunities and prospects lie here.
