Microsoft and Apple will release Web-versions of their "office" products!

There was news that over time, all Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, will come out in the form of compact Web applications and move to the Internet: see the article: “Office Web online applications will support Safari”
Thus, using Microsoft as an example, we see that modern Software projects inevitably strive to merge with Internet projects and, as a result, Software companies are looking for opportunities to merge with Internet companies.
We are all witnesses of how violently Microsoft tried to unite with Yahoo, as if all further fate of Microsoft depends on this union.

And of course, Apple will not stand aside from this process, but will actively participate in it, having also released Web versions of its “office” products - Pages, Keynote and Numbers.
Apple experts hinted about this by the way, and rumors have been circulating for at least a year that Web versions of Pages, Keynote and Numbers will appear soon in ".Mac" (the current "MobileMe"). These rumors have already been discussed in the article: “Web-apps & Apple Safari”

Although Apple’s software business is not the main business, without it this company would have been an ordinary manufacturer of PC clones. It is in Software-products, in particular MacOS X, that Apple gains its uniqueness and charm unique to this company. Without the software business, Apple will cease to exist as a unique company.
And since we see that the Software business ceases to be a separate business and strives to degenerate into an Internet business, Apple will either have to rebuild its Software products sooner or later, independently or by teaming up with someone (such as Yahoo or Google) in Web2.0-Apps!
And this is another confirmation that Apple’s Internet business will certainly expand, which would be greatly facilitated by just the unification of Apple & Yahoo.

Steve Jobs recently said that Apple is ready to spend $ 25 billion to buy some nito IT company - see the article: “Apple is ready to bite off a piece of Silicon Valley.”
And I would try to unite with Yahoo!
Yahoo! Shares Inc. are constantly falling and have already reached prices of only $ 12.1, and the market capitalization of the entire company Yahoo! now ~ $ 16.8 billion. [see: Finance.google.com ]
Well + Steve Jobs’s premium and established connections with Yahoo! and thus all of Yahoo! You can buy just for the $ 25 billion that Apple has accumulated.

If Apple teamed up with Yahoo !, surely Steve Ballmer and Bill Gates would be furious because they couldn’t gobble up the obstinate Yahoo!
The Apple & Yahoo unification is really possible because Steve Jobs clearly has advantages over a sweaty bald man of decent fatness, jumping on the catwalk and spewing loud cries mixed with his own saliva ... (Steve Ballmer, Microsoft CEO, is known for his eccentric behavior on stage).
And the main difference between Apple and Microsoft is the sense of taste, which sometimes becomes decisive when choosing a partner :)
