The headline is half the success

Last night I did a little research on Habré - how ordinary users react to publications of the yellow press. And I found out that for relative popularity it’s enough to just come up with a loud headline, embellish the situation a bit and remain silent about the true nature of the problem.

Having published the article “ Arrest for virtual murder ”, I watched with interest the public reaction - someone liked the post, someone did not. The community was divided into two camps - those who do not like the yellow press and those who either do not notice it or who do not consider the distortion of facts to be shameful. Total 35 votes for the post and 29 against, 54 comments.

Well, not bad for a note. Considering the fact that, as mentioned above, I specifically omitted several key facts about the true reasons for such court claims, which are described in the note, about 40% of those who commented to me pointed out this, which is good news.

It is also interesting that about 50% of those who commented called this fact “insanity”, one person advised to honor Jack London, and only a couple of people stood up for law enforcement. The latter fact is a little depressing - nevertheless, this figure should be larger, because any relationship, even virtual ones, is built on respect for each other.

As a conclusion, I can only advise "do not read Soviet newspapers until lunch" :)
