Asus introduced the desktop version of the EEE PC series - Asus EEE Top ET1602 \ 1603, previously known as EEE Monitor.
The new device is equipped with a touch screen from 15'6 to 19 inches and an aspect ratio of 16: 9, a 160 GB hard drive, a built-in card reader, Wi-Fi 802.11n wireless connection and a 1.3 mpix camera with microphone.
The think tank is built on an Intel Atom processor with a frequency of 1.6 GHz in addition to 1 GB of DDR2 RAM.
Unlike the ET1602 model equipped with an integrated Intel GMA 950 graphics card with 64 MB of memory, the ET1603 will be equipped with an AMD Radeon HD 3450 graphics card with 256 MB of memory on board.
The first model comes without a battery, while the older one comes with a built-in battery. With a weight of 4.3 kg, the Asus Eee Top ET1602 \ 1603 can always be taken with you to any room.(thanks spyfzm)
The customer is presented with versions based on Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition or Linux.
Also uses Express Gate technology built on the Linux kernel, which allows you to use the Firefox browser or Skype dialer without starting the main OS.
